Turtle Wax.......

Anything goes! Inventors! Artists! Cutting edge solutions to old problems. But also non-commercial usage of record cutting. Cost- effective, cost-ineffective, nutso, brilliant, terribly fabulous and sometimes fabulously terrible ideas.

So I've been using a small amount of Turtle wax to ease the friction when "embossing" or impressing into the plastic. Think I learned it from the Peter King videos....
It Works great BUT
I'm wondering if something less toxic would work just as well.
Vegetable oil? anyone have any advice in these matters of lubrication.
thanks

I'd rather drink vegetable oil than turtle wax!

I just started using the turtle wax for quiet stuff.
it's messy and flakes up. (maybe I'm doing it wrong!)

any pointers for some other material?
I think I'll try the veggie oil soon.
