A cutter for a newbie

Hi all, would appreciate advice from you pros.

I am thinking of getting a cutter for personal use I guess, just love Records too much. I have some background in Music Editing with software's but not with six cutting. The music I would use would mainly be classical songs that has no real bass or treble. Would that leave out the expensive options?

Also can you mass produce if you wanted to? how often does the cutting stylus need to be replaced? Also how difficult is it learning to use them?

Cheers,
Aran

Read through the Newbie Forum to get an idea of what others have asked about and the responses they received. If you read all the threads in the first two pages you should have a good starting point.
