What do you guys do with your used, blown or otherwise not usable plates? Does anybody take them to a scrap metal place? Will they take them? Just wondering since I am starting to get a pretty good stack going.

What a wide variety of responses! Never even thought of the ebay idea. People will buy just about anything I guess.

I hate to trash them because they are aluminum in the center. Gotta be good to somebody.

I may need them in the 7 and 10 inch size for reprocessing to use them as a low grade blank recording disk to be used only for non professional use.

Maistrow
From offering your receipes for a kings ransom we are now exposed to the fact that they where only ever good for non proffessional use
Are you for REAL
Others
Concrete man
Get the guys at Mastercraft to give the a coat of silver and a squirt of clear lacquer after they dry
Stick them in a frame and flog them on ebay for say $50 each with a bit of a rectangular plaque with the Happy Birthday "name" here is your first platinum Record
Charity auctions Fairs etc etc Good gimmicky thing
Gold would take on the silver by the way
Charge $75 for them
Back to front I know
But that was not the real reason I told you to hold on to them
That comes in another post a little while
Cheers
Chris

Until then, hang onto them. You can always sell them for scrap metal when you have neough of them but Im sure Mossy is going to come up with a real pearler of an idea.
