Possibly it's been updated.... I purchased a copy and was pleased with the volume of information contained on it. It does have a full operations manual for the 66 machine which from my understanding is very similar to the 70's version.

Also, there are full wiring guides and full schematics for all parts of the 66/70 lathe.

Finally there are some promo brochures that were scanned.

All in all I felt it was worth the $20 USD. All of the information and original materials are hard to come by. Having them all archived with quality scans in one disc is very nice in my opinion.

My VMS70 manual supplied by Neumann with the lathe had references to the VMS66 throughout. The VMS70 and the VMS66 is exactly the same - the only differencs is the cabinet that the VMS70 sits in - square edges rather than old-fashioned round edges (the cabinet that Neumann had been using since the 1930's). After a short while the colour of the VMS70 changed from grey/green to off-white.

That is the only real difference and that is why this CD-ROM refers to the VMS66.
