No the wires are ultra flexible and soft silicon coated 20 awg purposefully chosen for this reason.

For VR you want the Nebula, direct plug and play upgrade.
Contact for pricing, prices go up at end of the month.

I'm using 3 of them - 2 on a Presto 28N an 1 on a Presto 8DG. They sound and work amazing and they're super loud with full frequency spectrum. The wires aren't a problem Misjah, mine are strapped to the overhead carriage and haven't caused any issues in the 6 months I've been using them (cutting daily).
The fixed pitch on the 28N is the only thing keeping me from cutting louder. Anyone in the UK is welcome to visit my studio to see/hear them for yourself (I'm in Leeds).
Also Lee is super helpful with endless remote support via whatsapp. I'm not on here daily but you can email me or message me on instagram if you want to ask any questions, just search Rare Tone Mastering.
