TTT Extruder - hose for what?

Once you have cut a master laquer, you have metal stampers created and have records pressed from them. Discuss manufacturing here. (Record Matrix Electroforming- Plating, Vinyl Record Pressing.)

hi,
can someone tell me, what that hose (green color) hanging from the screw barrel to a box on the bottom of the extruder is made for?
is it made for collecting the rest PVC-pellets when cleaning the screw barrel?

someone knows?

What's it connected to? Do you have a photo with a side view?

the hose end up in a hole on top of the box.

underneath the bearing of the extruder-screw is a hole in the housing of the bearing that got something to do with the hose.
can someone tell, what are these holes made for?

Most extruders will allow some fines to go back into the flanges which mount the barrel to the gear box
Quite often a very coarse style " thread" is cut on the blank end of the screw counter to the screw rotational direction, so as to drive the fine material back into the feeding section of the screw
As an educated gues it may be the reason that they have that there catch the fines dump them in the drawer at the bottom rather than send them back into the feeding section of the screw which plays havoc in a colour change
I do not know this particular extruder this is a reasonable explanation based on the pictures you posted
Best
