Stamper Discs are proud to present a series of 3 short films giving a behind the scenes looks at one of the most overlooked aspects of the vinyl record manufacturing process.
Titled ‘The Making Of A Stamper’, ‘Troubleshooting The Test Pressing’ and ‘Motived By Music’ these films give a rare insight into the electroforming process that creates the stamper, an overview of the strict quality control and troubleshooting processes in play and an introduction to the team at Stamper Discs to find out what motivates them to produce the best possible stampers.
All 3 films are beautifully shot in HD by Bristol based cinematographer Max Smith who’s recent work includes landmark wildlife productions for both the BBC and National Geographic.

These are great videos. I've seen many posts and videos on plate pressing plants and manufacturing processes, but these videos are really excellent and among one of the best! Congratulations!
