presto k8 worm gear problem

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

hi trolls !!!

i have a lot of problem with my k8, the records jump the needle when playback, ... looking the plate, this up and down shortly because de worm gear is en bad conditions,

exist some tip to repair this ? or someguy that make one ?

if possible, i can make a worm gear with another lpi for more minuts in presto k8, like k10 ???
