Black is a lot harder to find, most plastic companies don't stock it. I have to get mine specially delivered and commit to 20 sheets at a time. And it's a lot more expensive than clear.

You are correct however I did find a company in canada that will sell me one sheet at a time, it is more expensive and I try to convince my clients clear is better and looks cooler.
