What Is This Adjustment For?? Presto K-10 (Pics Included)
All,
I have a Presto K-10. I am wondering what the heck this adjustment is used for? It doesn't seem to inhibit the needle in any way. Cutting needle case vibration perhaps?
Thanks!

You are missing the advance ball, a small nub that screws into the plate on either side of the needle. It helps control the depth of cut to be consistent on uneven or slightly warped discs.

Thank You... Very much appreciated. Anybody know where I could get one for a Presto K10?

You don't really need one. On the other linked topic up there^^^ us described the pros and cons of the advance ball. Just forget about it unless you are restoring it for a museum or something? But hey what do I know. On my k8 which is basically the same, the advance ball was just a pointless nub on there that would sometimes give me grief and/or ruin a cut. But hey what do I know
