TEFIFON - HOW IT WAS CUT AND PRESSED?

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Hi, Gentleman. I do not know if here is the correct place to ask these questions. But, alas, this is vinil (I guess), it has grooves, it was mastered and pressed and play music. Using a conventional stylus/cartridge. But, it is a endless loop tape. I never found information about how a Tefifon tape mas nanufactured. Any Troll here does have the answer? Must be very interesting. Thanks a lot. Claudio.
