This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Hey yall! Here's a cut I made last week here in New Orleans with a great band called John Zarskey and the Trade Stars. If you get a minute take a listen and let me know what yall (English : you all) think as I'm always looking good for advice or any feedback when it comes to cutting. There are other links on my FB to other bands and artists I've recorded here straight to disc.

Sounds great from what I can tell (hard to say with the camera audio). What equipment did you use?
