K-8 speaker out to have two heads at once

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Has anyone ever used the speaker out on a K8 to power another head? Seems like there's a strong signal coming out, but I'm not sure if it would work. Thoughts?

That just might work. Assuming the speaker and head have the same impedance I don't see why it wouldn't. I'll give it a try. I've got a k10 and a k6 but I haven't rebuilt the amp in the k6 yet. If I can power both heads with the k10 that would be sweet.
