Presto K10 and Grampian Type D
Hi , I'm tryng to get working together A Presto K10 and a Grampian Type D with the caruso preamp , spend one hour here searching about what of the cutter connectors on the K10 is the positive (+) one , some man (or lady) have the answer... ? its the one near to the plate or the one near to the cutter arm ?
Thanks friends.

curruso preamp question
will the carruso pre-amp work with any mono cutter head?
I have a BSR mono cutter head that I use with a graphic eq for riaa curve
will I get any improvement using the carruso pre-amp?
emidisc

Aha , yes flo , Im tryng the amp of the K10 , i must understand really isnt important the amp polarity relative to the feedback polarity ?
Yes emidisc , simply no use the feedback loop , great boost great trebles end , i was probing with a presto 1C on the K10 and the preamp sounds great.

yes you can use it for mono heads.
you need to build just part of it. around 50% of the parts are not necessary. only riaa section.if i have time i will post
the non feedback version.
and you get great sounding and accurate riaa encoder.
definitely better than using a graphic eq.
but honestly not sure if you will hear the improvement with an old monohead.
and you can also build this. it is basically the same.
i postet it long time ago here.
a nice straight forward riaa encoder. thats all you need.
but if you want to use nice finished pcb and level control get the carusopreamp print.
