wanted: someone who can cut in plastic

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Hello!

My name is Nick, and I have lurked a little bit on this forum...

I have edited my post to reflect a conversation with one of the members here, and I need to hire someone to lathe cut a few minutes of audio onto CD-R media. It would be abut 50 discs total, 25 of each.

I admire the experimentation on here, especially in regard to the materials you are using for the records.

Anyway... if someone is interested, please let me know. I am not sure how expensive this sort of project would be, but I am new to all this, so patience is appreciated.

You can reply to this, or PM me, or email me: automatik @ gmail . com
I'll be back at this board a lot, I am sure.

Thanks! And keep up your work! It's interesting.
