A vacation for a Polish friend

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

These are the postings on the elektroda.pl site, in case they disappear:

Translation: "Hi, I made such a device [or "these devices"] a long time ago and it works.
Is cutting head STEREO my production."

Translation: "A few years ago."
2007.08.03 CUTTER HEAD.JPG
I interpret that date as either March 8, 2007 or August 3, 2007. Offline, "Joanna" is claiming to have just turned 20. Either way, that would mean she would have been developing her masterpiece when she was still 13, and probably for a few years before that.

This person has been posting complex electronic/technical data on that board since January 18, 2009. It was not the writing of any 15-year old who exists outside a JD Salinger novel. And I've confirmed that "procesor3d" is a username connected to the email address that established the account over here.

All that said....Again:

They may legitimately be selling leftover Vestax heads, or their prototypes, or copies, at reasonable prices. They've sold to one of our members already. Not Neumann level quality but so what? All this weird identity stuff is a distraction from what should truly matter on this chat forum.

In fact, this person seems to have a VERY positive reputation selling things on Allegro, which is a sort of Polish Ebay, under the name sidorowicz55. over 450 transactions. I don't know why they were so evasive, when it would have been easy enough to put potential buyers at ease.

I know nothing.
I believe this is their allegro site, so watch here for listings. I have trouble figuring out how to navigate to their main page.

http://allegro.pl/mikro-sluchawka-mikrosluchawka-podsluch-sprzedaz-i3247371449.html

The videos are back.

This one is actually possibly informative :
This is the notorious bikini video featuring a UK escort:
A different bikini video, lacking an informative recording:
Should you wish to communicate directly with Sky, the Russian lass in the bikini, I recommend "Sunny Escorts" in the UK. I hear she's "a bubbly girl with a great sense of humor."

The first video has a jump cut about a minute in - but the music is uninterrupted.

It's been dubbed. Not a true playback video.

This has been so funny though. Sometimes I think it's someone yanking our chain.

Even though it feels too elaborate though thinking of which but the halfed assed MSPaint job would explain it a bit.

Also once again, why not show the cutter in action?

Anywho I rather trust a crackhead with my money then this person.

Now I'm off to pan the river bed...

Yeah...don't forget. Andybee left the forum over that joker. That's how bad this thing was. Whatever Andy said, I never saw, though I will blindly agree with whatever he said ! XD !

I even tried to PM Andy asking him not to go. At times I've been tempted to do the same. But, I feel that this site is too important to the remaining cutters in the world. And, as the timeline continues, we this will be the last vestige of good information on the net. It is important we keep it relevant and uncluttered with Bullshit.

This whole saga has been not only entertaining, but also serves to prove a point. Let's continue to grow our centralized database of all things cutting in a positive and effective manor, shall we???

Yes, exactly, I am agree with you.
Probably among 5 or 10 years we will be to speak about another "genius" that will create a new cutterhead, better than all the other heads seen in last years.
For moment we will see the end of this history on Ebay auction ( perhaps... ).
