I would bet it's a short shank based on the size of the head but I'm totally guessing. Unless their prices went up they're usually around $90 USD

I received a 6N plinth today with the platter and motor to go with my extra cutting arm and need to put a new cord on the motor.

Any help is appreciated, I did a quick search and came up empty

Hey mark

Have you tried making a puck instead of using the grinded bits? I wonder if it would work better that way?

Regardless sweet job again as always!

Both Leola's in Omaha and Homer's in Lincoln have closed down. There's still Recycled Sounds and Backtrack in Lincoln and Antiquarium, Drastic Plastic, Homer's and Record Benders open here in Omaha. A few other shops sell records too but those are the main ones left

Hey Mark Alan Graves told me if you use a long enough bolt you can screw down the center of the shaft and the capstan will just come off. I haven't tried but I figure he's the man when it comes to presto machines so he would know. Let me know how much you want for the trouble, if the price is right ...

I only handle polycarbonate blanks but Fraggle or Dietrich can help with the actual PVC records.

You might try combing the used dance 12" bins and look for one sided pressed records to practice on

No fun, I've had the puff of smoke happen two times trying old acetates and now I jus...
