Re: What is everyone using to offset their preview signal in a DAW?

Ah, yes. Different topic.

Just offsetting one of the stereo tracks by the required delay time is easy enough in any DAW but you must have a 4-channel DAC.

Re: What is everyone using to offset their preview signal in a DAW?

I also use the “preview offset” knob on my console.

Surely you can do the same thing by adjusting the output level of your preview signal if you’re going from your DAC to the pitch control?

Well done! Might be easier to install a third party pitch control system rather than sorting out all the wiring.

Re: Warped Pressings

I've wondered the same thing but I doubt they leave the pressing plant warped and suspect it happens in transit. If you can picture a 40' container full of records shipping form overseas, there is always a desire to fit more records in and stack them higher than is safe. Even worse, there is no guar...

Re: WTB: Drive belts for VMS66

They are not readily available off the shelf.
From time to time somebody will get a batch made an offer them for sale here.
Right now you might be the person to do that.
Take them off, get some made and let us know.

Re: weird extruder problem,help

The burned black viinyl compound is stuck to the inside of the barrel and on the screw of the extruder and some of it is coming out. You will see it better with white vinyl. These burned pieces will give you noisy records. The vinyl cake should ideally be about 10 degrees C lower than the mould temp...
