Injection moulding has certainly a lot of pluses It is a fact that since development as well as refining the process never stopped Unlike our industry which come to a dead stop more than 30 years ago. Re: Lacquer Specific Plating Issues
Not every lacquer that Goes through the process of plating up is going to finish up perfect The process is simple enough on the one hand with a stack of unknowns on the other. One would have thought that after 100 odd years we would have it all down pat. I am afraid that's not the case at all. As an...

Re: Hi. New member. Vinyl flaw question
That's most likely a bit of paper that found its way in the hopper with the compound. Either from the bag containing the raw material or a little bit left from a label before it was ground up. Some times regrouped material has bits of paper from labels not punched out clean enough. In this case It h...

Re: MDC lacquers
Lacquers are not known for consistency. Mdc, transco, Apollo, etc all do come softer harder etc. the process simply does not allow for it The comments here are valid of course we have been using all of these for many years after 10k plus sides hard to tell what's what better worst preferred etc. all...

Re: TTT Extruder - hose for what?
Most extruders will allow some fines to go back into the flanges which mount the barrel to the gear box Quite often a very coarse style " thread" is cut on the blank end of the screw counter to the screw rotational direction, so as to drive the fine material back into the feeding section of the scre...

Re: Runout Groove Through the Label
May be a simple case of 7" labels been cut on the 12" die cutter. In an auto press at almost 2 a minute, well, if it's a small run they be pressed sleeved than into the outer bags out the door before any one noticed the issue On the other hand the client may just said OK let them go rather than wait...

Re: Wholesale Distribution
Distros will not bother with your request. Dead stock is usually sent to a plant for recycling. As far as I know the used record market in Greece is already quite expensive judging from prices in stores I visited while there. I suggest you contact distribution people yourself offer to visit remove t...

The persistence has me amazed
Its really a worry
There is no doubt this person will find some way or other means to get back here again
Do not be surprised
If I was to guess, it be most likely some other "product" since the current ones have been blown
We need to be very vigilant

Re: Made A Trip to Germany Last Week: Newbilt
All is well that ends well as the bard says Every internet expert plus some armchair philosophers who carry some kind of torch for the Vinyl Record game jumped on it. Not much positive input in the past We now see the end result, its not a bad effort They put up the $$ the effort they got a result G...

On that point of switches and safety it really could do with a light curtain. But it all depends where they are going to be installed
I would have thought the buttons ought to be held till the moulds are right in and press starting closing. This is just an observation nothing more
