It can help reduce inductance, as a shorted turn. As is stationary is not as harmfull as in movil coil former.

I used a Policarbonate with Ultra Violet protection that was noisy. Solved it with some vaseline disolved in the ligther fluid.Now, I use it allways, but, of too much vaseline, I have to clean the record with hot eater and soap

Hi,
In the spanish flea markets,is very common to find this old voltage regulators used for TVs some decades ago...They usually have several voltage options, meter and they look vintage too!
I use one in my Rek o Kut and works fine!

Hi,
I think you may have to tilt thd cutter head.
Anyway, changing the angle wont damage this stylus, so you can experiment!.
If you try cutting (instead of embossing) in the future, just follow manufavturer's advice.

Hello, Are you cutting (really cutting, producing swarf) or embossing (impressing against the blank without producing swarf)? For the first, a vertical stylus is the start point, maybe a few degrees off, if it works better for you. For the second, it depends of what stylus are you using. For me the ...
