Regarding auction scams: if an auction looks suspicious but the item is worth some effort, one can use an escrow service as a middle man to protect both buyer and seller.

Polarity reversal can happen in a number of places - including your playback system. Is it happening on both channels?

Lacquers Anything up to 8 dB loss can be occur on lacquers that have been cut and left out of the refrigerator There is a loss regardless as the material that has not been "cut" but rather pushed wants to go back where it was pushed from The cooling down slows that effect down quite effectively Wou...

One strange thing I noticed is that the center hold on mine is too large. I was reading way too much W&F on my table and the reading was different each time I tried it. Then I noticed the slack in the center hole. Manually centering the disk made the issue go away.

Something to watch out for.

class D. well i guess a fat class A tubeamp would be nicer.hehe but i think could be good. never tested. always wanted to check those class D amps. not sure how they do in higher range...
