I know the previous owner of this lathe and cutting system. He used to have it set up in his mastering studio in Los Angeles. Some time ago he sold it to a man in Canada and it was shipped there. Re: Question for dub cutters (legality)

Contact the Harry Fox Agency in New York City.
They will issue you a license to use the song.
It is a small fee and easy to do.
Then you will be legal and have clearance to use the song.
I do this with my clients when they want to use someones music for there project.

Re: Angulo Records lathes of Argentina....wah huh?

So you don't care about the showing the sound quality
of your vinyl cutting unit on You tube?
Was the playback of the audio just to demo the song?

Re: Angulo Records lathes of Argentina....wah huh?

Is the music you are playing back on the you tube
video from the source or off of the tone arm from the disk.
It sounds like the source. Not something from disk playback.

Re: Acoustic Sounds acquires The Mastering Lab

I have been told by others sometimes high end cutting equipment is bought and shipped over seas and is placed in private homes and put on display as a showpiece. Somewhat like a piece of furniture. The equipment is never put into production to cut master disks for record pressing. We need to keep st...
