This should be my last training before i am on my own.
Also meeting the guru Al Grundy next wednesday to check out my sx74 and amps+the vms66 head and fix a regulator

took apart and moved a neumann vms66. so much faster this time than when i moved my vms70 in february. understand the machines so much better.
cutting all weekend in old cutting room that has both vms66 and 70 + sontec eq i am dying to play with.
i should be ready to cut on my own in 2 weeks or less

I had my spanish speaker mother inlaw talk to the seller after he didnt seem so receptive to me speaking english. he was very nice to her and i could of had all 5 presses+boiler+cooling tower+grinder +everything for the plant for 25k. I met with investors and business associations before deciding it...

problem is standard hose connection on 99% of all helium regulators. finding regulator with low pressure readout hard since need to stay around 1-2psi.
going to be many adapters in a chain i think...to get down to this small hose


will post up pics taken from final stages of setting it up this week

still worth the extra amps in the sx74 with a helium setup.
just need to get it setup correctly

almost done on my installation of my new vms70. Of course last minute issues- Bought helium tank from private party and no one will fill it. so have to buy one from local dealer. Both local dealers could not help me with which regulator to buy but just before buying one from welding supply found exa...

I trust the tech as he has worked on this lathe for many years for the old owner.

I am finally about to put the system back together since i bought and moved it 60 miles. Had to rent a place for studio now as floors up in my current studio are real bouncy(1890s New England house) and i dont think i could get it up the stairs anyways. Luckily found someone that can hook it back up...

Pressing 500 records and using some beat loops will most likely not get anyone sued.

i was going to press some with them but the 10k min. was alot to store in my kitchen
