Scully rates depend on the package. A fully working 601 with Westrex electronics should go for 50k+ easily.
Add an updated pitch system and there you go

Regarding the Maine ebay lathe- consider the electronics trash. the lathe can be refurbed but some missing parts could be an issue

You have the standard pitch box on it now and the cards are not working or the motors inside the pitch box?

A VMS70 or 66 with 74 head and electronics plus the Technics motor will run 3x what it used to easily

Curious how much more this process would cost and the price of the machines. The other issue in my opinion is that the label would be put on after the record is pressed? The record would look and feel different. A big part of the resurgence is nostalgia.... I love the idea of pressing records with a...
