Re: robert speiden's lathe for sale
Wow! Robert Speiden was the man who cut the master for an album I recorded and produced in 1975. I was so happy when he complemented my recording asking what studio I used. I did it in a rec-room with quilts hung on the walls, a Dokorder 4 track at 71/2ips and Radio Shack mikes and 6 channel passive...

Re: Recordette Restoration Help?
I'll scan them and send you a PDF File. Send me your email address and I'll send them to you. My email is rca23 AT earthlink.net
Replace the AT with the @. I do this so it's not a link that any knucklehead can click on and send me spam.

Re: Recordette Restoration Help?
I have a couple of these I'm trying to refurbish, also. I have a couple of manuals and a schematic.
I can send you a copy of the schematic if you want it.
Keep me posted on how you're doing.
Where are you located?

Re: Lockdown turntable and lathe - a DIY project
Quick Question on 3D Printing.
What settings do you use for your parts?
What type of filament do you use?
Are the parts completely solid?
Best,
Russell

Re: Lockdown turntable and lathe - a DIY project
Hi there!
I'm getting a 3D printer and a GlowForge soon, (on the way) and was wondering if you're making your plans available for us to try our hand at it.
Really want to cut some discs soon!

Re: Hello!(Refurbishing Recordio, ISO Astatic m41)
I have one of those Gakken Toy Record Cutters.
Having fun with it.
Messing around with RIAA Reverse EQ for cutting.
Why can't they make a bigger and better one of these? HAHA!
