probably the output section inside the sw800 should be in Parrallel mode with the input, so if u plug your headphone directly in the output, the impedance doesn't match. Try to plug another Vu meter (even on ur computer) in parallel. Becarefull, set correctly the input on ur computer from +4dbu to -...

level meter between big knob and amp
on my side I think that is better to avoid to transit modulation by the meter and go directly to amp !
just feed the meter by another output of a splitter is reliable.
But in my set up I use RIAA from Souri main unit without problem.
