Is there anybody out there with a Vanrock e101 who can tell me the full specification for the 1.5mm stylus holding screw?
Sure! Screw thickness is 1.6mm, screw length is 9mm (12mm including the head), so I think you`ll need a M1.6x9 screw.

Re: 100Hz hum: Motor noise?

The fact that its fast, indicates that its not the motor as it would typically slow down with age as bearings gum up with dirt and age, increasing load. This lathe originally runs @45rpm so when i run it at 60Hz , speed is lower than 45rpm. It happens the same with mine. I went the cheap way using ...

These look great!!! Looking at the Insta photos I’m assuming the back cover doesn’t fill the whole back of the sleeve? I think this is a great idea. Will investigate further! Thanks. Exactly! But let's continue via PM, this is very offtopic, not related with Phonocut at all (sorry Trolls!) Best reg...

Hi, Sounds more like rumble rather than AC mains motor noise... I've tried sitting my small lathe over two layers of bubblewrap I have at home and It helped a lot with the rumble. So I am thinking about using some absorbent stuff under my lathe. What do you think? Any recommendations? Best regards,...

Depending where you are located you may need a transformer to match the power mains. Hi Tony! I do have the transformer, I was asking only for the model of the two pin female connector I will need to match the power input in the pic, but I think I've found It: https://www.amazon.com/GX20-2-Aviation...

Re: Safe transaction for both parties: How?

Seems to me that there is not much difference between paypal and escrow. Both have the option for the buyer to not release the funds or claim them back somehow Exactly! I've read that in ebay if you write "AS IS" in the description then the buyer can not complain about anything. Interesting! Thanks...

Thanks! Seems a good option but I think I will go with PayPal (thanks @Soulbear!) as sale fees are a little bit cheaper for the seller (me) and there is no fee for the buyer.

Re: Cutting stylus suppliers? Diamond usable with Master Lacquer?

Am I wrong in assuming that since a Lacquer is comparatively speaking, as Soft as "Cow Shit" and a Diamond Stylus may be good for up to a few hundred hours of cutting the much harder Polycarbonate Blanks that it is OK to cut Lacquers with a Diamond??? Or did I miss something?? Good question. I've c...

I am also looking for this kind of machine. I am open to every offer. The only condition I have it has to be in operating state, minor flaws are no problem. I have an open pocket. If the flaws are major, then please make me an offer to. Perhaps we can work it out. Hey! PM'ed you :) Best regards, Fer
