Re: MyShank still in business ?

Oh wow, somebody just told me that "the shank" is actually "my shank" ?
He would rather troll this post than just reply to an email and sell a product, what the hell is going on here ?
This is actually shocking!

Re: MyShank still in business ?

Thanks piaptik I have no idea how not starting an email with "Hello" and using capitals to denote urgency actually counts as an unproffitable customer, the whole situation is completely insane, I just want a stylus and some blanks, I have no interest in taking up their time, in fact, if they had an ...

Re: MyShank still in business ?

I can live with the website being closed unless you have an account, but then blocking an account because you havent ordered, and now ignoring my emails because I didnt start my message to them with hello, and i wrote I NEED TO BUY A STYLUS!! In capital letters at the end of my message to show urgen...

Re: Lets make a list of ESSENTIAL GEAR needed to cut records

You can buy cheap metal stylus off ebay, they aren't great i am told, but it doesn't have to be diamond. You don't actually need a mixer, if you are thinking about the Preamp for the turntable, you can use any RIAA preamp. You are going to want (Not need) a vacuum (This is the incorrect terminology ...

Re: Are there any UK based peeps who would help with lathe p

And there is the exact reason why asking for help on this forum is fairly pointless "Dont search for vacuum because it is the wrong term, learn the process and the correct terminology" Seriously, the amount of rubbish you posted you could have typed with less letters "Search for xxxxxx, it isn't cal...

Re: Are there any UK based peeps who would help with lathe p

I wouldn't expect too much help from this forum to be honest, if you post basic questions only a few people will answer (SueDenim for one) but even basic questions wont get answered, this forum seems to be mainly for certain questions and showing off your current cutter experiments, unfortunate but ...

Newb questions

While saving up for the Souri, I managed to get a Vestax VRX fairly cheap, yes i know you all hate them, this has nothing at all to do with that, please don't go there. I am planing to get the My Shanks needles and blanks, however, while i learn and make any repairs i need to the maschine, i want so...
