That's awesome. I'm doing some testing with Audacity too (still waiting for my lathe to cut). So I used the same thing. Open the file > Convert to mono > Apply RIAA and invert > Use the Compressor filter (checked the highs and lows and used Threshold and ratio only). So far is good. Need to cut to s...

Hi guys and girls.

Quick question. (searched but couldn't find in the forum)

How you handle contracts?

I mean how do you know that the record you are cutting is not from someone else? But from the artist?

Do you have any 'standard' kind of form/contract to prevent piracy?

I am cutting PVC with a Rek-O-Kut / Garmpian. I am using a regular heat lamp to heat the blank to around 100 F - measured with a touch less digital thermometer. You have to heat the blank while spinning, otherwise it will warp. The biggest difference is the swarf (chip / thread) in combination with...
