Anyone here use Audacity RIAA curve to prepare audio?
The guy who i bought my presto 8DG off has a special RIAA box but as i havent got one I'm going to put each track in audacity and use the plug in and invert,
I was wondering does anyone else use this or does anyone have any better ideas?

Thanks for your reply I was more bothered about the pitch issues than the swarf issue, if i could have got the speed to be perfectly steady with very little wow and flutter i would have sorted the swarf issue next but i ran out of patience and most people said i needed to be using an SP10 to get rid...

here is a sample cut, theres quite a bit of rumbling noise but im not too bothered about that its the squeaks that are bothering me! Suedenim thinks its deffo the lack of stylus heat, what do all you other experts think? Ive bit the bullet and ordered a new stylus anyway!
