Make sure that your lamp isn't too close to the blank.
Heating up slowly tends to avoid one part of the plate being of a much higher temp than another - this causes warping.

Just to confirm, are you cutting or 'embossing'?
If cutting, what does the chip look like? (eg. is it grey/shiny, thick/thin etc.)

For the record (no pun intended), I believe that it was the 1952 Seeburg M100C juke which first introduced the rudimentary AVC (Auto Volume Control) circuitry.
As you rightly say Mark, it utilized a 6SK7 tube.

Fascinating article - great detail in the interview. Always loved his Dad's landmark compositions and really interesting to learn how his son continued that tradition. Can't imagine having to have 60 inches of space between the tape advance head and playback head just to correctly vary the la...

Although I'm not a mod, I have to agree that giving them permissions to delete accounts would be a wise move. Most of our mods are on the site at least once every other day - Being able to see some obvious spam and delete the account immediately would aid this problem immensely. Then there wouldn't ...

From experience I'm almost 100% sure that the spam we are seeing recently is generated by an automated application running on one (or several) botnets.
Such applications are set up to search the internet for PHPBB driven forums, create accounts and then hit them with a selection of juicy spam :(

In my experience of all things e-commerce, this is just a slightly updated version of a classic scam.

Basically, anything that involves a Western Union payment to someone who you do not know personally is a big no-no as far as I'm concerned.
