Im interested in having my own records made, it will be a scratching record made up of mostly locked grooves and samples. scratch acetates
Is there different types of acetate which could be cut to which have better playback life or could be used for scratching? Someone told me I could get scratch friendly dubplates, which apparanty would wear like a pressed vinyl?

Awesome! i just tried it by setting a sticker on the outside of the vinyl and set my sequencer looping one noise, cued them up as best i could as far as my eyes can see its pretty much dead on @33.3rpm,(its kinda hard to see the exact moment since the platter is spinning... but its within a mm or so...
