I'm sorry that the free copy of the manual doesn't meet your standards. Next time I'll upload 5000DPI TIF files.

Re: presto 6n manual

Ok lou2ser and the rest of you...first off, I am not making copies of a free manual from here and selling them for a profit, I don't do things like that ( I am a good Christian man and try to follow God's plan for me). I have no idea where I got my 1 copy from (emailed lots of folks for one), and i...

Sorry to bump an old thread, but it looks like flashbk13 got the scanned manual and is now selling them on ebay for $25 + shipping. That's not very friendly.

Presto 8K (K8) for $895?

I found this online. Can anyone let me know if this $895 is a fair price? I'm new to all this. My goal is to make lo-fi lathe cuts. I don't need anything professional but want more than a child's toy. However, I am not super mechanically inclined so I'm willing to pay more for a unit that is well ma...

Well, I am not totally sure I "get" it yet, but I am all for it!! it certainly looks like it could be helpful in wading through things. Sort of an interactive FAQ? Wikis are helpful for presenting information in a hopefully "easy to digest" format. The longterm goal is to make it easier for someone...

I spent an hour this afternoon putting this together. It's still very early in the process but I thought it would help out newbies (like myself) get a grasp of what's going on in this forum. http://lathetrolls.pbworks.com/ Accounts are free to create over there and once you're a member you can edit ...

Can you Cut/Emboss on Red Flexi Edison Diamond Discs?

Does anyone have any experience cutting/embossing onto these? I have an opportunity to buy 300 of them for $100 and was wondering if they were worth the trouble.

Thanks
