Trade: Timex Magnetic Disc Recorder Model 40
Looking to trade this old Magnetic Head Turntable Recorder in working condition. It's not a "lathe" per say but definately unique. Essentially it's a record player/recorder with a tape head. Comes with 12 Discs, all used but erasable/reusable like tape. I used to have a Recordio so looking for somet...

They still have their cardboard cases, most of the backing tape from the original packaging has fallen off but they are still sharp and have not been used.

Tim_S and your blank Laserdiscs
Looking for a Tim_S who posted on a different board that doesn't allow PMs and he hasn't posted there for a few months so no luck. You had said you came into a bunch of blank laserdiscs and made a lot of references to the lathe trolls. Anyway, looking to talk to him because I just found a laserdisc ...

Selling this
I bought this off ebay, fitted it with all the proper tubes and a makeshift power supply. Powers up and spins. Audio jacks work and cats eye flickers with sound as well. Can't get the head to vibrate though, probably an easy fix but I don't have the time for it. Asking $150 plus shipping to preferab...

heated
Hey, I've been searching for hours and can't find an old post.
Dude was trying to heat up his steel styli with an x-26 and talking about different mods and seeing how well it worked before frying that crystal head.
Anyone find or remember this??? Link me

X26 Cutterhead Fade Out Problem
Hey everyone, long time reader first time poster... I have two X-26 heads that Gib at West tech just repaired for me. The only trouble is that they fade out after about a minute of working. Before they were fixed they would rattle and vibrate with the best of them for as long as I wanted. It isn't h...
