yes manual press's are cheeper but you try to make a 1000 records on one and you will soon realise why only picture discs are made on them! You dont need a full auto press that does the sleeving and everything but just one that drops them onto a spindal so you can check each one and sleeve it your s...

I have not made a record out of 100% edges before but i have made many records out of 100% regrind (old records with the centers punched out). i would say to the untrained eye / ear that you would not notice any difference. Yes samples from your plant would be best but the pigments should never cause "noise" issues as long as the recomended amount is used.
