Re: tell me your experiences with the elliptical equaliser

If I was designing a new EE I would want the following; 1:Variable frequencies from 0-700hz 2:Ratio control(How much of the content is moved to mono) 3:No reduction of lf content when in circuit. My current EE (on my desk) has three buttons On / 150hz / 300hz ,it does not reduce lf content and fixes...

Re: What is everyone using to offset their preview signal in a DAW?

This is probably not helpful, but I use the preview offset on my desk ,I like the ability to be able to hear the audio at every junction at the flick of a switch.
Good Luck

Re: Perfect Groove Software

The video skips past the calibration settings which is a shame because it is unclear how this is set up in the software , If you have calibrated the software to your studio and lathe levels – i.e. what does 0 dBFS cut in cm/s – it will show you how much capacity of the record your tracks will use. Re: VMS 70 vacuum hose max length?

I have my vacuum, sitting under the swarf jar, Inside a muffler box similar to the ones originally supplied with the lathe,Whilst it is not silent the noise is never a problem.

Re: I get my s**t cut at Transition

I only cut lacquer dubs because plastic sounds shit. Not if you cut them correctly and use a quality diamond. I can send you some test cut if you don't believe me. I even have one posted here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPHU34jHEAU The background audio is a rip of a plastic cut. You tell me if ...

I get my s**t cut at Transition

When I started 16 years ago I used cutting dubs as my education into lacquer cutting,We still do them now and whilst there is not a great mark up I squeeze them in between my rent paying jobs.It generally takes 20 mins to cut a 5-7 min track onto both sides. I view dub cutting as more of a sevice to...

Re: FLopen_midi, the flozki open source Midi remote for lath
